Health Office
Valencia is fortunate to have an amazing health technician taking care of our students. Jessica Martinez is available in the health room to tend to students with bumps, bruises and runny noses. She also takes especially good care of students who have lost a tooth at school! Her hours are 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
FOCUS ON THE WHOLE CHILD
In conjunction with Upland Unified School District, Valencia values the success of the whole child. Through our Multi-Tiered System of Support protocol (MTSS) process, students can be identified as needing additional social or behavioral support.
Parents and teachers, as well students themselves, are encouraged to contact school administration if a student's are in need of social-emotional support.
Non-Routine Medical Care at School & Medication Policy
Please keep the health technician informed of any special health conditions and any changes to emergency contact information. Keeping this information current is essential in the event of an emergency.
If your child requires specialized medical care during school hours, written orders from your child’s physician are required. This includes any procedures or treatments beyond basic first aid.
If your child needs to take any medication at school, including over-the-counter medications, a physician’s written authorization is also required.
All medical forms must be renewed each school year, and whenever there is a change in your child’s health condition or treatment plan.
You may visit the Health Office to pick up the necessary forms or download them using the links below. Once completed, please return the forms to the Health Office.
